Therese Werner is Principal at Konsert Strategy & IP and part of the firm’s leadership team. She brings over a decade of experience advising global technology and industrial companies on business-driven IP strategy, operating model design and organisational transformation, with a focus on improving strategic alignment, operational efficiency and ways of working.

Therese leads complex client engagements across IP, technology and organisational change. Selected highlights include leading the development of a strategy and operating model for Tech- and AI-enablement of IP teams; managing the carve-out and organisational redesign of an IP function at one of Europe’s largest manufacturing companies; and leading the multi-year implementation of a business-driven IP organisation and operating model for a German high-tech company. She has also led work on IPMS architecture, IP strategy for emerging digital offerings, demerger-related intellectual asset separation, and cost control and harmonisation of IP operations.

In addition to her client work, Therese leads the development of Konsert’s AI platform, shaping how the firm applies AI to strengthen consulting delivery and support the future of IP management.

Therese holds a Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, with a focus on Intellectual Capital Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management, both from Chalmers University of Technology.
