Robin Sparrefors is Principal at Konsert Strategy & IP and serves as Head of Strategy & Growth on the firm’s leadership team.  As project sponsor for Konsert’s large or complex client engagements, he advises leadership at global industrial and technology companies on tech differentiation strategy, innovation models, business-driven IP management, and turnkey IP StratOps.

Selected engagements include:

• Sponsoring the CEO-backed IP StratOps initiative for a born-digital Outcomes-as-a-Service solution at an industrial equipment company, focusing the IP portfolio on high-impact software and AI domains amid industry disruption.
• Directing the end-to-end, business-driven IP transformation of a German high-tech company, setting a new IP strategy, reorganising for business alignment, and training teams for future requirements.
• Leading the IP StratOps and digital IP journey for a US automation company, designing, implementing, and scaling new capabilities to address evolving industry dynamics and the commercial demands of software IP.
• Developing the commercial strategy and business playbook for data-driven services at a leading European engineering company, launching the first digital service pilot and establishing the strategic foundations for recurring revenue growth.
• Leading the development of business-driven digital innovation and IP strategy, alongside a new agile organisation for high-paced execution of fintech innovation, at a Top-10 North American bank.

Robin rejoined Konsert in 2014, having started his career at the firm after graduation. In the intervening period, he was part of Accenture Strategy’s Innovation & Product Development practice, focusing on innovation strategy and R&D transformations.

Robin holds a Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ICM) from Chalmers University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from School of Business, Economics and Law at University of Gothenburg.
